Why does that matter? Because it's a quiet redesign of what "flexible" means. On paper, interviewing at 1am sounds like freedom — do it on your own time. In practice, it's people squeezing a stressful, evaluative conversation into the hours when they're most exhausted, because the daytime is already spoken for. The AI doesn't care what time it is. It doesn't get tired, doesn't need sleep, doesn't notice if you sound frayed. The human on the other side very much does.
