Privacy Policy
This site is run by Harry Sharman, based in the United Kingdom. It covers harrysharman.com and the products that live on it: The AI Habit (email programme), Sven Beta (Telegram fitness coach), and Briefly, AI (podcast). The short version: I collect the minimum needed to run each product, I don't sell data, there are no advertising trackers, and you can get everything deleted with one email.
Browsing the site
- Analytics: self-hosted and minimal — page viewed, referrer, country, screen width, and browser language. No cookies, no cross-site tracking, no advertising IDs. Bots are filtered out.
- Fonts load from Google Fonts and podcast players embed from Spotify; those services see your IP address when the assets load, under their own privacy policies.
- Chat widgets ("AI Harry" and "Ask the archive"): your question is sent to OpenAI to generate an answer. Questions are not stored by me.
The AI Habit
- Collected: your email address, timezone, preferred send hour, and any context you optionally give about what you want AI to help with.
- Used for: sending the daily emails you signed up for, and nothing else. Emails are delivered via Resend.
- Payments for the 90-day track are handled entirely by Stripe. I never see or store card details — only that a payment happened, the amount, and the email it belongs to.
- Unsubscribing: every email has an unsubscribe link; it works immediately.
Sven Beta
- Collected: your Telegram chat ID and the messages you send Sven; if you connect it, health and fitness data you choose to share (for example via Apple Health export).
- Health data is sensitive and treated that way: it is only ingested with your explicit setup, is encrypted at rest, and is used solely to give you coaching. It is never shared or sold.
- Processing: messages are sent to OpenAI to generate coaching replies. Aggregated, de-identified lessons may be distilled to improve the coach; raw personal details are redacted before that happens.
- Payments (where enabled) are handled by Stripe, as above.
Who processes data on my behalf
Netlify (hosting and storage), Stripe (payments), OpenAI (AI responses), Resend (email delivery), Telegram (Sven's chat platform), Spotify (podcast embeds), Google (fonts). Each acts under its own privacy policy; I send them only what's needed for the feature to work.
Retention and backups
Product data is kept while you use the product, plus short-lived rolling backups. Unsubscribed or deleted accounts drop out of backups as they rotate (within about two weeks).
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or complete deletion at any time: email aihabit@harrysharman.com or reply to any product email. Deletion requests are honoured promptly, including Sven health data. UK GDPR applies; if you're unhappy with how I've handled something you can complain to the ICO.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date above changes and product subscribers get told by email.
